We’re suckers for inventive twists on classic looks which is why we love the latest bridal offering by kisui. For the 2014 collection “African Space Journey”, designer Kerstin Karges was inspired by African traditional dresses and fictional space travel. Strong patterns, bold draping and elegant laces, reminiscent of African patterns are combined with feminine necklines, cut-outs, and distinctive embroidery. Soft, flowing gowns are adorned with graphic lace patterns and delicate ruching, while the silhouettes of more structured creations are further enhance by the use of exquisitely textured fabrics and 3-dimensional embellishment. Romantic with an edge, just the way we like it. Above and below, Elouise lace gown with straps. Love!
